A busy day when I had no time to spare (I'm not complaining).

Mid morning at BBC Television Centre to photograph the BBC Click team, then a call from the Sunday Times to capture singer Jacquie Dankworth in Highgate.

Jacquie is the daughter of Jazz singers John Dankworth and Cleo Lane, plus a fine singer in her own right.

I had a half hour recce before meeting her. The light was soft in the garden, perfect for portraits. Whenever I can I like to use natural light.

Love Jacquie. Great lady.
