It's team Tuesday!!........ Meet Andy!

Well to be honest I don't have a clue where to start here..(a real one off in every sence of the word!)

I guess it should be the professional side; Andy is the Grounds and Tournaments manager here at Dev Park and has been here for over 25 years now. There is very little in the tennis world that Andy hasn't come across and his ability to not get fazed by the pressures of a major event are truely exceptional.

Again I'm so lucky, as although Andy is the gaffa over the years I have built a friendship that is comparable to none! He is great to be around and really one of lifes gems.

Taking this picture was a nightmare, so any photographers that work with kids/animals I feel for you! :)

I have way too many stories to pick from but one that makes me smile is this......Due to a real bad accident Andy can no longer smell or taste anything (not the funny part)...... One day at a party Andy entered to be greeted by a choice of nibbles....his chosen food was the very posh roasted vegetables, very nice, as he was happily eating his way through them his wife shouts 'what the hell you doing that's popuri'...you know the dried scented flowers!!!!!.......anytime I see popuri it makes me smile!


After taking this shot he did declare that this is the nearest to photographing a model I would ever get! :0)
