The Old Man of Stoer
Absolutely fantastic day here today. The temperature gauge in the car says 18 degrees, but the sun is high in the sky and there is barely a breadth of wind.
This morning we walked out to Stoer Head, to see this impressive sea stack. When we got back to the car park Mr A had to assist in freeing a sheep which had got its head stuck in a bucket. Sadly no photographic evidence was obtained of two middle aged men wrestling with a lamb. Lunch was a light snack at the newly opened Lochinver Mission, a community owned cafe and bunkhouse with a remarkably democratically priced menu.
Pie again for tea. You cannot beat a good combination.
We have plans, weather dependent, for tomorrow. I won't tempt fate by saying what they are!
