Herring Gull

Sitting in the garden for about half an hour thinking of what I should blip when this Herring Gull landed on next door's roof. It's partner landed also but a bit further away and both proceeded to start those weird guttural calls that gulls do so well, so I got up and walked slowly forward. This is a shot of it as it took to the air (closely followed by its mate).
