after yesterday's "broken soldiers" blip, I received a message urging me not to throw out my childhood play figures... thanks Ailsa, you were right.

A somewhat unpleasant morning of raking through the wheelie bin ensued... unfortunately it was macaroni cheese and sweetcorn for tea last night, but I'll spare you the details...

Anyway, I am now happily re-united with these 1970's model footballers, half of which I had painted up in the Scotland 1978 World Cup strip, to match my own. I was 11. Happy Days!
