Crossing Morecambe Bay

A group of 500 walkers are being led across Morecambe Bay as part of an 8 mile journey over the sands from Arnside to Kents Bank. This was the wettest part - the channel of the River Kent. Fatalities due to quicksand are very common unless an expert guide is used. This is a unique experience.
