gwanghwamun. this is the heart of downtown seoul, the main entrance gate to gyeongbokgung, the largest of the five grand palaces built by the joseon dynasty. it doesn't really look like the downtown core of one of the largest cities in the world, but it is! maybe tomorrow i'll take a shot from the same place but looking in the opposite direction... there's a pretty dramatic difference. my blips from the 6th, 8th, 9th and 11th were all taken right around here (my apartment is a 2 minute walk away and i'm lazy!)
