Conglomerate
I took a drive out to "Wind Weathered Rock" at Blackheath this afternoon. I spent a lot of time and took all kinds of ultra-wide, wide, Lensbaby, and other shots, but this close up, narroww d.o.f. shot of a layer of conglomerate in the sandstone wave-shaped cliff face proved to be the most interesting.
On the way out and back I drove past the devastation that some of the Blackheath Blippers and their neighbours & friends have had to endure over the past 2 weeks or so. The destructive force of the winds has just been hard to comprehend. Hopefully life can return to normal asap.
