New Hard Drive

One of my Back-Up drives decided it no longer wanted to communicate with my computer.

So I went for 2TBs enclosed in its own case. Because I was using bare drives in a hard drive docking unit, this will require a total rearrangement of my hard drive connections.

Even though the drive has a FireWire interface, the "dog-faces" only created one port so that you cannot "daisy-chain" the drives. Never heard of that before. I am not amused.

The 2nd one is there after all only on the side. Whoda thunk?
