I'M ALL EARS

This is called a Mule Deer (cause of the big ears) and when they run away they really don't run, they hop. This one took us by surprise as much as we took her by surprise. She stood long enough for a picture and then hopped away.

(I never found Pete the dog's owner. Since there is no way he could have gotten out of the backyard by himself someone must have let him out. The owner did phone in response to the found ad, but I had to tell her I didn't have her dog anymore.Hopefully they will be reunited soon)
