Non-stop day!

I volunteered to babysit with the 14 month old grandbaby of a friend whose husband has been in the hospital. My youngest granddaughter, our yard boy's sister, agreed to go with me, and was I glad! The baby, whom I had never met, was adorable and completely agreeable to spending the day with strangers, but she has just learned to walk and she went non-stop for the entire time she was awake. I need some sleep, starting immediately. ZZZZZZ.....

Weather report: Hot! Thankfully a brief thunderstorm rolled through in mid-afternoon and cooled things off a little.
