School Concert
Gonna make some kind of attempt to keep this short, as it's been a long day, and i've literally just got home so I have to be fairly quick anyways.
Today was the school concert, and so I didn't have any lessons today, and rather spent the day in rehearsals and preparation for this evening. Everything was going well, perhaps a little unorganised, but the best things are often spontaneous.
Anyways I stayed at school afterwards until the concert so I had time to just chill out, and play a bit/ practice. It also was a lot easier cause my sister had just got back from Duke of Edinburgh this evening and was coming to sing in the concert. That and other things just meant it was easier.
Long story short, the concert was really good. Everyone was a little worried cause the programme was much bigger than recent years, and was due to keep us there for a considerable amount of time. But everything was well structured, flowed easily and had diversity so I think it was great. I prefer the longer concerts, we used to do them all this length. Everyone played fantastically and it was possibly one of my more favourite school concerts. It also featured the debut of 'Barbershop' a male group i'm in. Which went down very well, and how ever much we mock it. I'm pretty sure we all love it really.
This is just a short photo I shot after school when I was helping to set up the hall. I love the way everything is done up for our concerts. Unlike other schools, we go all out. Balloons, refreshments, everything. I just love my school <3
