i was all set to blip something else - but kept being drawn back to this pic...

a neighbor's dog - usually all fired up - barking and lunging whenever i pass by - but today, very quiet, pensive... willing to listen to me talk to him in soft tones and had this look on his face. and stood letting me snap a couple shots before i needed to leave for an appt.

i wondered as i walked away, if he ever gets out... escapes from his fenced enclosure... experiences some freedom to the great beyond. we all need to escape - to take care of ourselves - to enjoy our tiny pleasures... our simple moments... whenever we can. for they make up our
