Murron - 'Do these make me look clever?'
Me - 'Not really.'
Murron - 'I feel clever when I put them on.'
Me - 'Well perhaps you can wear them to school....?'
Murron - 'Nah, I'm clever enough for school.'

I took Brammle for another early morning walk. This time I kept him on the lead, so there was no need for an emergency hosing down. It was a good walk, we saw a group of young hares racing about in the fields and I discovered a huge patch of wild strawberries. I picked some of the runners to plant by the path when I got home. Any other plans were disrupted by the rain, which continued off and on all day long. Rowan has another assignation with THE boyfriend and stayed for dinner with his family. Driving home from picking her up her mobile beeped and I jokingly said it was Jonny saying that he missed her already....it was.
