Paddling In the Park
In London for a few days.
Train down quite uneventful ..... entertaining, but uneventful LOL
We decided to get out bearings above ground this time. The two times we've visited before we've spent far too much time a lot of time on the Tube.
So, we treated ourselves to a taxi to the hotel, dumped our bags and headed out for an afternoon stroll.
We are not far from Hyde Park so that was the obvious starting point. We walked round and round and up and down and FINALLY found the Diana Memorial Fountain that we failed to find the last time we were here.
I didn't paddle but I caught these feet making the most of the cool water on what was a warm, humid afternoon.
After a wee sit down (and giving some German ladies directions to said fountain) we headed up to Marble Arch, along Oxford Street and finally ended up in an eatery just off Wigmore St.
Back now, with a bottle of wine and my socks and shoes off!
