Conker Jr

Whilst walking to my car this evening after a long shift at work, I noticed these developing conkers. There is always a plentiful supply of decent sized conkers from these particular trees in September-definitely suitable for a good conker fight!!!!!

Many years ago, I arrived home from work to find my youngest son had drilled some holes in conkers to put string through, when I cleaned the work surface of conker bits, I discovered he had also drilled a couple of holes through my work surface.

Many years later it makes me smile to think of it :))))))
