The Two Towers

A fellow Twitterer let me know about this huge bonfire in Newtownards about six miles from where I live. It's the biggest I've ever seen although there are a couple of monster bonfires in Belfast too. For non-NI Blippers, these bonfires are erected and lit across most of NI to celebrate the 12th July Bank Holiday, now known as it's new tourist-friendly name: Orangefest.

The other tower is Scrabo Tower on the hill overlooking Newtownards. It can be seen from Sophie's bedroom and her school, Towerview PS, is named after it too.
