Day 37 - The Rain in Spain

Rained buckets today. But did we care? Actually we were too tired to care - I think that the last few weeks caught up with us and after exploring the town this morning we retreated to our room and dozed for the rest of the day.

Santillana del Mar is apparently famous throughout Spain as the most picturesque village in the country; unfortunately it has been a victim of its own beauty and most of the admittedly beautiful buildings have been transformed into souvenir outlets, bars, hotels and restaurants. Shame.

The blip was taken in town while we were waiting for a gap in the rain.
