Manchester to Blackpool Cycle Ride

Takes place annually and is supported by around 10,000 cyclists, many of whom raise money for charity and good causes. At the finish line, Team Eric Wright (less a couple of members who were still several miles away!) The weather was good and my Pete managed the quickest time of 3 hours 35 minutes, an excellent time for a 65 mile ride. The last of the team members took 6 hours (but did confess to having done no training).
It was then another 6 mile ride to our local on the promise of beer and sandwiches (although '6 hour man' was collected by car :)
