Tayvallich Bay, Loch Sween

This afternoon we took Carpe Diem over to Tayvallich on Loch Sween. It rained incessantly, by the time we got there the boat was probably twice as heavy as when we set off!

The drive over has stunning views along Loch Fyne and passes the Crinan Canal, an amazing feat of engineering.

We had dinner at the Tayvallich Inn, which has a this beautiful view across the bay, and fabulous food. The Moules Mariniere were delicious!

Cyclops and Sarah joined us later. By the time we left the Inn all was calm and midgie. Some roads in Edinburgh were closed due to flooding - sounds like T in the Park will be a mudbath!
