For reasons too complicated to go into here, during the summer we keep the temperature in the house at a level normally associated with storing meat. This morning, the temperature outside was 20 degrees higher than inside the house and the humidity was 100%. The resulting condensation gave me a moment of "What the hell is wrong with this camera" until I actually looked at the lens. (Obviously the effect can easily be reproduced with the blur feature of any editing application, but still...)

Alarmingly, this is a fair representation of what the world looks like to me when I'm without my glasses.

These are native grasses that I've been planting around the place in an effort to reduce the amount of blue grass and fesuce and other grass that requires massive amounts of fertilizer and water. The natives have the advantage of A) being practically indestructible, and B) needing zero care once they're established.
