Addingham
I drove down to Leeds and back today to visit a friend who is seriously ill. I only found out recently so I was glad that I was in time to attend the barbeque that had been arranged for friends, relatives and neighbours.
On the way, I stopped at a little village called Addingham just north of Leeds. My ancestry investigations have indicated that this is truly my family's "ancestral seat" - the line can be traced back to the 1600's. This photograph is of St Peter's church where there is a memorial stone with some of the names in the family tree.
