Korean fir

We have a lovely garden planted by previous owners and not being a gardener myself I've no idea what everything is nor how to look after them properly.

Having researched, I think that this is a Korean fir .... but what do I know?!

The purple, almost black, cones gradually open and change colour throughout the year and do look rather perculiar as we're not used to seeing anything other than brown cones!!
