Glen Coe Lochan
The first day proper of the photo holiday. We went to Glen Coe Lochan this morning and walked around it. The light was very flat for most of the time so we had to think how best to approache landscape photography. In general that meant avoiding the skies.
This image was taken at one end of the Lochan and looked like a reasonable composition because there was significant foreground interest.
We were on Rannoch Moor this afternoon. That famous iconic tree is no more - there appears to be significant storm damage.
We worked hard today and I think we will sleep well tonight.#
