Summertime...

at last it feels like summertime. Mike took me to Lockerbie, then to Kippford.

We walked form Kippford to Rockcliffe using the middle path. From there we decided to walked across the sand back to Kippford. It was great fun. I was not so keen on the shrimps that would pop out of the sand under the water when you walked over them, it was a really creepy feeling having wee things swimming between your toes and hitting the soles of your feet as you tried to walk through the water (and yes I did squeal like a girl when that happened much to the laughter of Mike). We treated ourselves to an ice cream when we got back to the car.

Popped in on Mum & Jock on the way back home and interrupted there pizza eating for a wee bit. It was lovely to see you both.

Today was just the distraction I needed.
