Portobello beach

We stayed overnight with our friends last night and thankfully the sun was shining when we woke up this morning. After a leisurely breakfast and some play time in the garden, we all headed down to Portobello beach. We managed about 30 minutes there before being chased away by a huge black cloud and more rain!

When we got back to our house this afternoon it was time for relaxing and watching the British rand Prix. Then Kerr and I went to visit my parents. Abigail and Lucy were there as they have just returned from their 2 week holiday so Kerr was delighted to be able to play with Lucy. They helped themselves to lots of Grandpa's raspberries and strawberries straight from the plants - i dread to think what bugs he has eaten, yuck! Home for a scrub in the bath and bedtime for my tired but happy wee soldier :-)
