A beautiful flower opening in the dark

This in a way represents how I'm feeling today. It was dark but something beautiful appeared all of a sudden: my holidays!!!! I'm the happy flower coming out of the darkness of work!!!

Yes. Couldn't help taking a picture of this flower this morning because it looked so beautiful, but I don't know its name. If anybody knows it, it would be great if you could tell me! :)

Today my day felt really long. Maybe it was because I was thinking about my holidays and I just wanted it to end as soon as possible. This kind of thing usually makes time slow down.

Planning to stay in Edinburgh for most of my holidays. I'm making a wedding cake for a friend of mine (I'll blip the picture), I'll try and explore the cycling paths in Edinburgh if the weather is nice, and at the weekend I'm going to the Shetlands!!! Can't wait to go there. I'm expecting to see some interesting wildlife and scenery! Of course I'll take the camera with me!
