Paying the price

Mother in law is staying with us at the mo so we're doing the tourist thing for the week. Today's outing was to Scone Palace near Perth - very interesting and lots to keep the girls occupied too which is always good. Mostly managed to dodge the rain while we went through the maze and had a go in the adventure playground but then got totally drenched in hail on the way back to the car!! And I now know that my new jacket really isn't all that waterproof :-/

Blip is of a bottle top from lunchtime in the cafe: some really nice old style lemonade - yum! Love the old style glass bottle and bottle tops but not so keen on the prices. Not sure how much the lemonade was on it's own (although I did pay £1.35 for a can of diet Pepsi somewhere else the other day!) but lunch (sandwiches and drinks) came to over £30! Hating those touristy prices although shouldn't be surprised since I worked in the industry for a good few years. Bank balance will take a beating this week me thinks.
