Last of the Light

Went out Puffin watching as a birthday treat, something I was not sure I had enough energy for after ahectic few weeks; particularly as I'm never convinced we'll see puffins over Durlston Head way, despite their claims...

...We did though, plus some shags, and oyster catchers, gulls, guillemots and peregrin falcons. In honesty though, much as it was lovely to see the birds, the rocks are too large to get close enough for a really good look...

...the mug of tea and the sunset we were treated to on the way back into harbour really made the whole evening for me.
