'Perdy'

Wills friend had a sleepover last night after football training and it was a lovely day when we woke up so we decided to give them the choice of skate parks to visit as a treat.

They both picked Perdiswell as Curt hadn't been before and Will loves the ramps. I have to say it had me on edge a bit today. The foul language the young kids use there is shocking and a Dad had to break a fight up by telling a 10-11 year old to f@#$ off home! Not the best parenting skills in the world but yet effective! Will got asked for a £1 by a child smaller than him and then got the middle finger for saying he didn't have one! Lovely!

All that aside though we had a great day. It's amazing what some of the kids can do on these scooters. Curt's really good at it. He shows no fear and just throws himself into the tricks whilst Will is a little more unsure of himself but he's getting better all the time. Great exercise for them though.

We went up the hospital later to see Lucy's Mom after her operation. Thankfully everything went fine and she'll be out tomorrow. A big relief all round that it's over and done with now.
