What's going on over there then?

These are Plumed Whistling Ducks, and I've never seen them before. Spotted them at our local lake, when Alexandra and I went to feed the ducks and moorhens I thought they were geese at first and had to look them up when I came home. Have no idea what they were looking at, and only a couple of them were tempted by the bread we were throwing.
