Rest in Peace Baggins, dear Fluffy Friend

A very sad day. We said goodbye to our faithful fluffy chap Baggins. He had gone downhill so quickly over the past few days and passed away quietly this morning. We had taken Grace to say her last goodbyes to him last night and to prepare her for what was to come (as best you can with a three year old). Hubby and I went out and buried Baggins this afternoon. It still doesn't seem real. Grace wanted to see where he was buried. I don't think she really understands. She thought she could go and see him again, but he was already underground. There have been some tears and I am sure there will be some more, plus some more explanations needed. Ophelia is unaware of what is happening, which is probably for the best as she and Baggins were such good friends.
