Penobscot Narrows Bridge

i tried without success last night to get this uploaded. the wifi at the hotel we're staying at was so bogged down that it pretty much keeled over. so i had to try again this morning. (7-10) i am really really disliking this motel. i slept horrid, my back and neck hurt, and my headache is still present. i don't think i'll be recommending this place to anyone, unless they really just want a cheap place to sleep while exploring the area. the amenities suck!

anyway..this bridge was pretty cool. the boys got a kick out of it. it was a single suspension bridge crossing a piece of the Penobscot River in Maine. there is an observation tower on the west end, and it's right next to Fort Knox Historic Museum, which really didn't look at all like a fort when passing. more like a house made into a museum.

So, dear blippers..it would appear that today's blip will most likely be a really late one, as i'll have to wait for regular cell coverage to achieve it. there's really not much out here. but i can live with that. just as long as i'm not stuck in hell hotel again. the good thing? the boys are still asleep.. and the one i was worried about falling off the bed didnt! and the one i didn't expect too, did! hahaha! so funny.
