East Links

We headed through to the east coast today as the weather was looking promising and went to East Links Family Park (which was where I was meant to go yesterday). We were only there for a couple of hours, but it was really good and we will definitely go back. We saw chickens, geese, horses, ponies, rabbits and other animals, but didn't make it round the whole park. This was mainly because H was having such a great time on the trampolines (predictable!), the giant slide, and these little tractors in the picture. H is too young to peddle so hubby ended up with a sore back from pushing her.

We left when it began to rain, and it was just as well otherwise we might have drowned! On the way home, it was torrential rain and the motorway was beginning to flood.

By the time we arrived back in the west, we were met by glorious sunshine! Went to Clarks to collect new shoes for H and then to the supermarket where H spied a "Charlie Bear" and carried it around the shop shouting at anyone who would listen "Chaley Bear". H's Daddy managed to distract her and return it to save us shelling out more cash!!! It's a possible birthday present though as she did love it and it was lovely and soft and cuddly!
