What a view
Headed to Salen today to visit the tourist attraction of........the minor injuries clinic, to get the youngest dressing changed, as instructed by the hospital in Glasgow.
He found this highly amusing and asked the nurse if it was ok to use his phone to take a pic of his leg. He found this amusing too and asked if he wanted a picture with the best nurse on the Island in it too!
The west side of the Island is so different from the East. The roads are miles and miles of single track roads with passing places and sheep that hold their ground. On the way we saw seals playing in a sea loch, deer, hen harriers and a golden eagle that swooped infront of the car as it tracked a stoat. The funniest sighting of the day was after miles and miles of travel a stop was required for the men in the party and they took to a remote road side to "relieve" themselves only to pee on a mouse that shot out of the undergrowth in the torrent!!
We passed this type of amazing landscape as we passed the island of Ulva. When we passed this the first time the road was clear of debris, when we returned Lord of the Manor drew our attention to the amounts of rocks that were lying on the road so we didn't linger too long!!
