Even in a mask

Managed to fight off a migrane that has bubbled under for a few days, but felt washed out so I popped to get some grub and then decided to do sod all but work vicariously.

J9s solo is really coming together now, some large carved driftwood sculptures nearly finished, a few big mono prints all framed up and some carved plaster pieces she is umming & aahing about whether to put in. Today she was sanding them to get a smoother finish before she makes a decision.

She still cant work as long as she used to but the rehabilitation & exercise programme is working wonders and a real sign was that she has got the curve back to her spine. It had gone completely flat and out of line so to to see it back again makes it, to me, the most beautiful curve in the world.

Now off to order her some shellac, apparently its the poo of the beetle Kerria lacca, i find it generally better not to ask why....
