Strawberry Preserve #2
Gently heat berries & sugar in large flat bottomed pan until all sugar dissolved.
If not using sugar with pectin add either the juice of a large lemon or some pectin once all sugar has dissolved. Increase heat and rolling boil for mins. Test for setting on chilled dish. If not yet setting, reboil for a few mins and retest. Repeat until setting achieved.
