Valid Ticket for the Ghost Train?

A dog chasing the tumbleweeds, across the sandy floor,
That drift along the platform, through the ticket office door,
Waiting for the train that never comes.


Madness

Something about the variable message sign's diktat about valid tickets (always something of a nonsense on the Newcastle Metro although I always buy one anyway) and the nearly empty platform this morning made me smile and think of Madness.
