St Ives from another angle

I photograph St Ives quite a lot but I don't think I have done this angle on Blip yet.

I was safety boat operator the the sailing club this afternoon and took this during the first race. Its a laser Pico with St Nicholas chapel on The Island in the background.

We were kept rather busy today in the safety boat with about half the boats capsizing at some point and some multiple times (isnt that right, TalesFromStIves) but everyone recovered successfully and we had 2 very good races.

I also had to launch the Lifeboat today to search for a diver who didnt return to his boat. I am glad to say he was found safe and well after half an hour.

So all in all, a very good day all round and I think I have earned a nice bottle of Shiraz.
