Blackjack Street,Cirencester

After many years.. this street has been PEDESTRAINISED..(yes that should say Pedestrianised , spell checker wanted to put a z in it..i just altered it completely!!!!! oops)

Today.. there was a bit of a do to celebrate this.

My bosses Di & Matt were instrumental in its inception and made todays proceedings, go with a REAL swing.

The mayor and Lord and Lady Apsley were there, there was Music, food tastings, raffles,music,kids entertainer,music.. the atmosphere was good NO it was party like.. and a real credit to all the hard work that they had put into it..

Black Jack Street looked in fine form, and was very busy..

it only rained briefly, thankfully..
these lovely people weren't deterred by the inclement weather.
and came prepared for the weather

PS does anyone know where foxey is on here? hes new to Blip, and i met him today!
