LIBRAN DAY
I used to be undecided and now I'm not so sure! I'm such a typical Libran - completely not balanced and always weighing things up for far too long.
Went to the bottle bank and drove on to find myself at the junction for the A1. I swithered... straight on to the coast or turn right to Berwick and some bridge blipping... SUCH a tough choice.
Opted for straight on. Arrived in Coldingham at the T junction - should I turn right and pop in on my friend Audrey or turn left and do some beach blipping. Why has someone not invented a decision making app yet?? Another tough and very tiring choice.
Opted to visit Audrey.
Great choice. We drove to St Abbs and walked to the harbour and sat in baking sunshine outside the cafe - surrounded by divers, trippers and locals. Perfect.
Great catch up, good chat and fab soup lunch... coffee and then DECISION TIME AGAIN - malteser cake or carrot cake...malteser cake won which we shared to ease the guilt and pain! Oink and very resounding YUM!
We talked about my dilemma - should I go to visit the parentals and see the tall ships in Gourock or visit Susan in Aberdeen. No decision made on that one at the time. That was one decision too far for a lazy Saturday, and as she is also a Libran was no help whatsoever!!
I have since decided on Aberdeen and leave tomorrow morning. Why? Because I can spent time with Susan walking and talking and I can catch a couple of Apple 1-1 sessions to make me super fast on my new Mac. The art gallery has a wildlife photo exhibition which we can visit. Fab!! There is also a lovely beach 5 minutes walk from her flat in case of good weather. Good choice I think!
Cut all my grass today - no mean feat. You've seen the photo. here. I also finished off tidying my hobby room - which was not open for hobbies as there was no working space - clutter everywhere. All sorted now and open for business. First project is to re-adhere tiles to latest mosaic which got wet before I grouted it...hmmmm.
Quite satisfying all round and only 5pm! :))))
