Black Swan cottage

Our friends Ian, Otis and Mr. Julian are staying in Black Swan one of my favourite holiday cottages in the Peak.
It's one of if not the oldest buildings in Ashford in the Water. Unlike some of holiday cottages it has retained its original charm and character whilst still giving oodles of comfort.
A real fire with baskets of logs original floorboards and a great dvd collection there's no bath but a lovely shower as putting in a bath would have involved the knocking down of walls which would have seriously changed its character for the worse.
So if you're ever looking for a weekend away from urban living Black Swan comes highly recommended.
