Zoe's Birthday Party

Zoe's birthday party was today. We started at Marmalade Skies, a really cool craft place and ended at our neighborhood pool. On a whim this morning, I bought this turtle float when I was at the grocery store this morning and it was a huge hit. We had almost all of the party attendees on the float in this picture except one who had to leave early and maybe one other who, understandable, didn't want to wrestle her way onto the float with the others. It was quite a battle!! This is one tough turtle! It is so big that it barely fits in the trunk of my minivan.

It was so fun to see the girls continually trying to climb their way on top of this float. Things got really crazy when a group of boys decided to swim up under them and flip them over....over and over again. It became an all out war. The girls got out water guns and sprayed and splashed the boys. It got ugly and fun and hilarious all at the same time. I think that turtle may be the best $15 I have spent in a long time.
