Looking South

It dawned cold and very damp this morning in Rooi Els.

This is the view looking South towards Pringle Bay. The mountain with the nipple on top is called Hangklip in Afrikaans (in English it would be something like hanging rock).

There are some big swells coming in from the South Atlantic, making for lots of spray, foam and noise. The wave in the middle distance has caused a plume about 10m high. Amongst all that it is completely still and tranquil in the foreground after a massive tide yesterday afternoon.
