The Spider and the

Drip.

So, the kids are scattered all over...Jane and I have the evening to ourselves so we decide to go out for dinner at the Thai place in town. Jane has been before and thought it was lovely.


She was right too. I had something with oyster sauce and she had a creamy sauce, there was sticky rice and coconut rice...yum.

When the plates got cleared away, I asked for another tonic water (I don't drink) and she wandered off with our plates, spilling the cutlery on the way.

We waited. And we waited. Eventually, another woman came up and I asked for the dessert menus (Jane wanted dessert instead of a starter) and the first woman wandered over with one menu for me to look at. That's OK, we shared the menu. THEN another woman came over and gave us our bill and took the menu away.

We decided to pay and left. I was still thirsty and Jane had not got the dessert she fancied. Its a good job the food was good!!

We collected the dogs and went for a walk along the lake. I liked the spiders webs, and drips from the rain earlier - so took a picture with both in!
