The Everlasting

Evening all,

I've read somewhere that once you own more than 150 cds there will be songs and cds that you will never ever play.

Don't know if thats true or not but i do know it takes a bloody long time to have the sadly too frequent sort out the cd cases...its usually prompted by a telling off from the boss, when she has gone out for a burn up in her car, grabbed a suitable electronic/funky/trendy/trancy cd, got in the car, opened cd only to find its been swapped for a 'best of the Nolans' cd!!!

Its not swapped to purposely annoy, its just i've brought up child to ensure a cd goes back into a case whe it comes out of a cd player, i didn't actually stipify that it should go back in the correct cd case, just that it needed to go back into A case...

consequently opening cd cases in our houses is like opening tinned goods without the correct labels on them...tinned beans and custard anyone?

So we are about two evenings into the cd sorting and its just about finished, well apart fron the ones in the car, and the ones in the bedrooms, and the ones in the sunroom, and the ones that have cases but no sign of a cd,

and then theres that how you organise them dilemma, yours, mine and hers, all mixed together, is it alphabetical, is it current favs, is it a shelf for each genre, each person, each colour...

and then you go " Oh i forgot i had this, i just have to play it, its a classic, oh it takes me back..".etc etc

and then if you multiply it by three the problem becomes more exaggerated, beacuase it becomes tit for tat, you play one, i play one, then she plays one, then back to me...like a threeway version of the Chuckle Brothers.

Anyway, going to catch up with all your blips whilst listening to 'Lifeblood' by MSP, which frankly, i'd forgotten about and hardly ever play, but hey, its my turn!!!!

i could go on, but i shan't bore you anymore,suffice to say i've had a great Friday night.

and, no i have no clue why its gone all italic, but hey ho, off we go!!
