über chuffed

I am very pleased. I finally got up to the city to see about my keyboard that stopped working a couple of weeks ago.

A lovely genius gave me a brand new one free, gratis and for nothing even 'though the warranty had long-since run out.

Being relegated to the laptop was something of a barrier to blipping as the screen's not so good for editing or even selecting. Like many blippers (I imagine) I have a whole routine around posting, even a preferred time of day. That's all been out the window recently because of the general disruption of not being able to use the main computer for work or blipping. Phew, it feels very comforting to sit at the desk and type.

So I'm über chuffed on two accounts.

First I think it's my favourite thing in the whole wide world when someone does a kindness they don't HAVE to do. When my jaw dropped and my eyebrows raised the genius said 'Because I can.' I'm going to pinch that phrase and emulate him at every opportunity. Kindness does indeed abound.

Second because I wanted to celebrate and sing this guy's praises I blipped this wee white wildflower when I came home 'though it was well past sunset - on manual in the dark, if you please 'cause I couldn't see a damn thing on auto.

There was more but you get the idea - an excellent day.
