Visited our (very) sick friend this morning.
She is now on a morphine pump as well as a cocktail of other drugs. There was also a nice mix of flowers thrown together in a vase in her front room.

We went to collect our free Bag of Crap (their words - not mine) from the Big Offers Warehouse of Crap (some of those words are mine) at Newbridge.
May bag of crap contained a plastic magpie (the Cygnet will no doubt like it), a 2 year planner and diary (in theory useful) and a bottle of antibacterial hand gel (that will live in the car and be very handy).

This evening SWMBO and I went out for a meal this evening (after I had got really pi**ed off with her when she vanished into Bags' (formally known as daughter)house for 15 minutes leaving me sitting in the car waiting for her.
I tried getting a shot or two of the rain through the restaraunt window, but failed. It is hard enough to spot the bus let alone the rain.
