School's out for summer

I didn't go to bed until 2am (long story) and was awake again at 6am. As soon as the kids had gone to school, I had to have a snooze on the sofa.
My son finished school at midday. That's it for the summer. He spent the afternoon playing tennis with his mates. My friend Annette and her two kids arrived from Manchester. Her husband is taking my son and their kids to to France/Spain tomorrow. They have to get up at 5am.
