Toadflax

Deep verges - filled with such a wealth of grasses, wild flowers, voles, weasels, toads and spiders - are amazing environments that should be protected and cherished.
I'm endlessly fascinated by the seasonal parade of flowers that quietly arrive, bloom and fade; nature's own herbaceous border. At the moment, there are eye-catching splashes of yellow toadflax amongst the fairy-clouds of stitchwort. Wonder-full!
